During the tendering process, VIKON’s team visited and priced the work that was required for the DQLS upgrade. We were also invited to make further recommendations for any additional works that we considered as of good value to the scope. We listened closely to the school’s needs and uses for the classrooms and toilets, while also considering the student age groups in this block. Additional work such as adding hand dryers, replacing toilets, adding additional laminated wall linings to toilet walls, and repairing the big traditional bifold made the renovated building to look even better, newer, and last longer to suit the needs of the school.

This project delivered DQLS upgrade to the interior of the classrooms in Block 1. The toilets in Block 1 also received full refurbishment as per request.
New floor covering, repaired wall lining, new LED lighting, new radiator, doors & windows repair/replacement, new ceiling, and underfloor insulation were implemented in classrooms, along with new paint to ceiling, doors & windows, and all other timber joinery. New toilet partitions, WC pans, polished stainless-steel wash trough, hot water provided, and new mixing tapware.
Thanks to the amazing effort from our staff and contracting partners, all these works were delivered in a 1.5-month period of time including Christmas and New Year’s holiday. On-time, with quality, within budget.
